Please enjoy this slideshow of the Detroit Red Wings Stanley Cup championship parades of 97 and 98 seasons, there was over 1.5 million people downtown Detroit on Woodward Avenue. It was Electraphing capturing all the fans and the players enjoying the first Stanley Cup in 45 years, even talking about it gives me chills, walking the entire Woodward strip behind Stevie Yzerman during the 1997 Stanley Cup parade was a day never forget. There is also highlights from 98 Stanley Cup championship parade and the banner raising ceremonies at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit.
The Detroit Pistons 2004 championship parade down Jefferson Avenue, they tried some a little different than the Red Wings. This felt so great to be a part of since the bad boys championship team in 1989. There was no MC Hammer here, but the hitman Tommy Hearns did great job. I can't wait to add a Detroit Lions championship parade showed to this site.
